Featured Recipe: Grilled Garlic Bread
DESCRIPTION
Delicious Garlic Bread to accompany your favorite pasta dish.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 loaf Ciabatta bread (or other firm bread), sliced inch to 1/2″ thick
- Olive Basin Garlic Olive Oil – for grilling and also on grilled bread, if desired
- Freshly grated Parmesan-Reggiano Cheese
- Fresh chopped parsley, optional
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat grill on medium setting. Place a little vegetable oil on a paper towel and using tongs, lightly oil the grate.
Using a pastry brush, brush garlic oil onto both sides of each bread slice. Lay on to oiled grate. Grill 1-2 minutes, depending on your grill, turn and grill 1-2 minutes more on the other side. Each side should have grill marks, however, this happens quickly, so take care not to overcook.
To Serve:
Place each slice on a platter, sprinkle cheese and parsley on to each slice. If desired, additional garlic oil can be drizzled on top.
